"Yoga is the practice of quieting your mind" - Patnajali

Ashley's love for the practice of yoga began in high school and in 2012 she began teaching. Her passion and appreciation for yoga and its healing capabilities stems from her own life's journey. Having sought refuge in the practice during many difficult transitions, from her parents divorce to childbirth and the stresses of parenthood, to the daily pressures that life inevitably brings. Yoga was always there offering inner peace. Since then her love has expanded to yoga's sister science of ayurveda and herbalism learning how to better serve the body in a more natural and holistic way.

Ashley is an animal advocate and loves all things nature and enjoys spending time outdoors and learning all the gifts our plant friends have to offer. Her, her husband, their two young children, two rescue dogs, cat and chickens reside in Spring Prairie soaking up all that country living has to offer.

Since 2012 Ashley has received training in reiki, meditation, yoga nidra (yogic sleep), pranayama (breath practices) and restorative yoga, among many others. She also has her 200RYT, 100 ayurvedic counseling certification and 140 trauma informed certification. Currently she is working on finishing up her 300RYT and will be pursuing her IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapist) certification in the near future.
