“What you think, you become” - The Buddha

Roxanne found herself through yoga in 2011. She still remembers her 1st class and how centered and relaxed she felt afterward. She immediately knew she needed more yoga in her life. Taking a somewhat backward approach, Roxanne enjoyed a trip to India with a group of yoga teachers before she began her training as an instructor.

Roxanne began teaching in 2015. She uses a slow flow and hold style adding in a little bit of Kundalini and Tai Chi for variety. Roxanne enjoys creating unique sequences for her classes. Wanting to make sure that everyone has an option for yoga, Roxanne teaches a Gentle Class on Thursdays at noon. A chair is used for seated poses and flows. Standing poses in the Gentle Class give participants access to the seat or back of the chair to aid in balance and as an alternative to putting hands and knees on the mat. Roxanne also fills in for Mixed Flow classes regularly.
